Dr. Rebecca Clark is one of the faculty athletic mentors (FAM) for Averett University’s women’s volleyball team. This is Clark’s fourth year in the position and she loves every moment of it. She also takes great enjoyment in helping feed both the men’s and women’s basketball teams over winter break.
Clark came to Averett in the fall of 1989, where she taught sociology for 26 years before retiring last year.
She received her bachelor’s in education from Strafford College and went to receiver her master’s and doctorate’s degree’s from Arizona State University. Clark is also a member of Averett’s Cougar Club Hall of Fame.
She loves to travel and hopes to plan a trip to South Africa in May and Eastern Europe in the fall.
