Averett University Athletics

Joshua Sperber started at Averett in the fall of 2018 as the Assistant Professor of Political Sciences and History. Originally from Los Angeles, Sperber moved to Danville in the summer of 2018 with his wife and two children. Sperber’s education background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from San Francisco State University, a Master of Arts in Modern European Studies from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the City University of New York Graduate Center.

Joshua enjoys going for walks, reading and playing basketball in his spare time.
