Bryce Jackson returned to Averett University's football program as an assistant coach in August 2024, working with the tight ends.
Jackson was a five-year member of the Averett football program, serving as the starting quarterback for the Cougars. In 38 career games, he threw 524 completions for 6,687 yards and 58 touchdowns. He holds numerous program records, including career passing completions (524) and attempts (990), career passing yards and career touchdown passes. Twice he was named the USA South Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week in 2021.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Jackson graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports administration from Averett in May 2024. He's pursuing his master's degree from Averett.
