Zoe Winnes '24 joined Averett University as a graduate assistant in the athletic communications office in July of 2024.
Winnes served as an intern with Averett athletics communications office during all four years of her time at Averett, working with game day operations and livestream productions. Before starting her position with Averett, Winnes worked with Danville’s local summer collegiate baseball teams, the Danville Otterbots and the Danville Dairy Daddies, where she worked in promotions in her fourth season with the organization.
From Danville, Virginia, Winnes graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports communication from Averett in the spring of 2024. She is pursuing her master’s in business administration at Averett.
