Averett men's tennis freshman Nicolas Quevedo was chosen as the USA South Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday. The native of Quito, Ecuador, finished with a 2-1 singles record at the No. 2 spot and a 2-1 doubles mark at the No. 1 position. In singles action, Quevedo earned wins over opponents from Johnson University and USA South foe MaryvilleCollege. In doubles play, Quevedo teamed with Alexander Terentiev for wins over Johnson and Maryville.
