Women's lacrosse senior Alixis Roccia swept USA South Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors on March 26. A midfielder from Fort Mill, South Carolina, Roccia scored 12 goals with four assists, 24 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers and 11 draw controls as the Cougars posted a 3-0 record last week. In an 11-5 win over Juniata College on Wednesday, Roccia scored three times with three assists, ten ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw control. In a 19-17 victory over USA South foe LaGrange College on Saturday, Roccia totaled four goals, six ground balls, six draw controls and six caused turnovers. Finally, in a 14-2 win over USA South rival Huntingdon College on Sunday, Roccia contributed five goals, one assist, eight ground balls, seven caused turnovers and four draw controls.
