Baseball redshirt freshman Trevor Testerman was selected as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Player of the Week on Feb. 19. Testerman, an infielder in his first season after transferring to Averett, had a stellar weekend in which he batted .625 over two games. In eight at-bats, he had five hits, including two doubles, a triple and a home run as he was a single shy of hitting for the cycle in a 14-7 win over Gettysburg College in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday. Testerman totaled two runs batted in and five runs scored over the two-game series while slugging 1.500 and collecting 12 total bases.
