Averett junior goalkeeper Martin Erenstedt was named the USA South Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for men's soccer. A native Göteborg, Sweden, posted a 2-0 record last week with eight total saves in 196 minutes between the posts. In a 2-1 double-overtime win over USA South rival Methodist University last Friday, Erenstedt collected three saves. In a 5-1 non-conference win over Chowan University on Sunday, Erenstedt stopped five shots.
