The Averett University men's basketball team hosts Ferrum College for a USA South Conference matchup on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Grant Center. The game is also part of Averett's "Caring For Carrie" event as donations will be accepted to benefit Carrie Hendrick and the Jimmy V Foundation. Fans are also asked to where teal to the game in support of Carrie and her battle with ovarian cancer.
