• Averett Game Notes vs. Huntingdon


The Averett University football team hosts conference foe Huntingdon College on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium for Senior Day and Military Appreciation Day. It is Averett's home finale this season.

Live statistics will be available and a live broadcast will be available through the Averett Sports Network.

Prior to the game, Averett will honor its senior class. Also, as part of Averett's Military Appreciation Day, Sgt. Dana Bowman will parachute into the stadium to deliver the game ball.

All veterans and active military personnel receive free admission to the game with ID.

Averett (4-4, 3-2 USA South) fell to Ferrum College 14-3 last week. Huntingdon (8-1, 5-1 USA South) defeated Maryville College 28-24 last week. For more on the matchup, read the game notes here.
