STAUNTON, Va. — The Averett University volleyball team made quick work of conference foe Mary Baldwin University, taking down the Fighting Squirrels 3-0 on Wednesday night. Off to one of their best starts in program history, the Cougars remain undefeated in conference play and have won 14 in a row.
Averett (21-2, 10-0 USA South) won 25-10, 25-11 and 25-12.

Brooke Aaron and senior Jordan Minton each totaled four kills for the Averett offense, which hit. 250 as a team. Freshman

Keenan Marks totaled a team-best five aces will recording 12 assists. Wood added four service aces and freshman
McKenzie Miller tallied 16 assists.
Averett returns to action on Thursday with a non-conference match at Roanoke College beginning at 7 p.m.
