DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University volleyball will host the semifinals of the 2017 USA South Conference Tournament on Friday at Averett's Grant Center. West Division No. 1 seed Covenant College will play East Division No. 2 seed William Peace University at 4 p.m., and East No. 1 seed Averett will face West No. 2 Maryville College at 6:30 p.m.

Averett (31-3, 16-0 USA South) won its third consecutive division crown, and a 3-0 win over Methodist University in Tuesday's quarterfinals advanced the Cougars in the tournament.

Tickets are $6 for adult general admission and $3 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens and children. Only cash will be accepted. The first 100 Averett students will get in free with your student ID and the first 30 faculty/staff with ID will receive free admission as well, courtesy of Averett.
