• Averett Game Notes vs. Maryville


The Averett University men's basketball team finishes the regular season by hosting Maryville College at 2 p.m. Saturday for Senior Day. The winner of the game will earn the top seed and right to host next week's USA South Conference Tournament.

Averett and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will also host the third annual "Caring for Carrie" event during halftime of the game.

Averett (10-14, 8-5 USA South) is coming off a 98-86 win over William Peace University on Wedneday, while Maryville (19-5, 9-4 USA South) has won four in a row after topping Covenant College 83-76 on Wedneday.
