The Averett University softball team will host Meredith College in a conference doubleheader Thursday, beginning at 2 p.m. at Cougar Field.

Averett (18-16, 10-6 USA South) split with Salem College on Sunday, while Meredith (21-13, 12-4 USA South) has won three in a row.
