Time: Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. (Danville, Va.)

The Series: This is the first ever meeting between Averett and Coker.
Averett at a Glance: The Cougars went 7-10 in dual meets last season, which marked their second campaign of competition. The biggest accomplishment was seeing three of its wrestlers, including returning juniors Sam Braswell and Brandon Woody, qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
Coker at a Glance: A Division II institution, the Cobras finished last season 3-11 in dual competition and had one national qualifier.
Grapple and Tackle: The season opener will also be Averett's "Grapple and Tackle" event, which will mark the first time the Cougars will be competing outside on the turf on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.
