The Series: Averett is 4-20 all-time against Maryville dating back to the 1991-92 season. The Cougars had won two in a row against the Scots until Maryville took last season's meeting 80-70 at Maryville and this season's meeting 68-51 in Danville on Jan. 18. Averett is 0-1 all-time against the Scots in the conference tournament. Their only meeting was a 64-62 classic in the 2015 semifinals hosted by Averett.
