Sophomore Ryan Traylor homered for the Cougars and drove in five runs over the weekend, while junior Cody Jones finished 4-4 in Game 2 against Huntingdon.
Roanoke at a Glance: The Maroons battle Averett 0-2 on the year and currently receiving votes just outside the top-25. Roanoke lost its opening series to Methodist University, who is also receiving votes by finals of 7-4 and 8-7. Since that time the Maroons have had five games canceled due to inclement weather.
