DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University women's soccer battled 83 scoreless minutes with Emory & Henry College before the visiting Wasps put in what turned out to be the deciding goal for a 1-0 non-conference Wednesday night on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.
Tied 0-0, Emory & Henry (1-0-1) got the break either team was looking for in the 84th minute. Kelci Horner's line-drive shot was saved by sophomore

Emory & Henry outshot Averett (0-3-0) by a 16-10 margin, including 10-5 in the second half.
Dills had four saves in goal for the Cougars. Senior
