Averett at a Glance: Averett men's basketball is riding a 10-game winning streak entering Saturday's conference showdown at Covenant College. Averett edged Greensboro College 71-65 on the road Wednesday. The Cougars have clinched a share of the USA South East Division, and at least one win in the final three regular season games would give them an outright title. A win over the Scots would help Averett stay in the driver's seat to host throughout the USA South Conference Tournament.
Covenant at a Glance: Covenant, meanwhile, beat Piedmont College 80-71 at home on Wednesday. Covenant has clinched the USA South West Division. Saturday is Senior Day for the Scots.
