Wesleyan College on Oct. 2. Despite the loss, the Cougars owned the stat sheet against N.C. Wesleyan as quarterback Bryce Jackson threw for 300-plus yards for the sixth consecutive game and senior receiver Isaiah Grice tied the program single-game record with 11 catches for 151 yards. Averett will look to convert on its red zone opportunities this week against the Hawks after only going 2-for-7 against the Bishops in those situations, which proved to be the difference.
