  • The Series vs. Lynchburg: The Cougars are 0-4 all-time against the Hornets dating back to the first meeting in 2004. Averett and Lynchburg will meet for the first time since the 2007 season on Wednesday.
  • Averett at a Glance: The Cougars are off to a hot start to their 2021 season following back-to-back 20-goal victories over Sweet Briar College and Randolph College to begin the season. Senior Elizabeth Peasley was named IWLCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week following back-to-back 13 goal, one assist performances. Peasley eclipsed the 200 career goal mark against Randolph last time out, becoming the first player in program history to record 200 career scores.
