GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Averett University men's lacrosse program dropped an away conference match 17-9 against Greensboro College on Monday afternoon on Pride field.
Averett (4-8, 0-7 USA South) shot out to an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter seeing goals from freshman
Liam Taylor, junior
Mike Michaud, and junior
Tyler Moodie.
Greensboro (9-2, 5-2 USA South) then outscored the Cougars 12-4 throughout the next two quarters.
Taylor tallied three goals total while fellow freshman,
Connor Taff, added two goals for the Cougars.
Junior
Parker Corbett also added a goal as well as an assist. Junior
Mason Foy scored while junior
Brenner Woodcock totaled two assists.
The Cougars conclude the season against Methodist University Saturday, April 24th, at 1 P.M.
