The Series: Averett trails 13-7 in the all-time series with Ferrum, but the Cougars have won the past three meetings. The Panthers hold a 7-4 lead in the series in games played at Ferrum. When the Cougars and Panthers last faced off, Averett won 35-12 at Ferrum in 2019.
