Averett at a Glance: Averett men's basketball travels to play USA South Conference foe Greensboro College on Wednesday. Averett has won two in a row following Saturday's 75-56 home win over N.C. Wesleyan College. Junior Corey Baldwin was named the USA South Conference Player of the Week on Monday. He averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in two games last week. Averett's win over William Peace on Jan. 13 gave head coach David Doino his 98th career overall win with the Cougars, making him the winningest coach in program history. Doino passed Averett Athletics Hall of Famer Jimmy Allen, who coached the Cougars from 2004-10 and is now the head coach at Division I Army. Following Averett's win over N.C. Wesleyan on Jan. 15, Doino is now one win away from 100 for his career.
