RICHMOND, Va. — No. 18 Averett University men's wrestling dominated Bluefield University 53-0 on Friday night at St. Christopher's High School.

Averett won every match and now moves to 20-6 on the year in dual matches. The Cougars won five of the matches due to forfeit.

At the 157 mark, No. 15 nationally ranked freshman Jesse Alvarado bounced back earning a tech fall after suffering his first lost of the year last time out. The Cougars are back in action Sunday when they travel to Westminster, Md., to battle McDaniel College and Waynesburg University.
