Women's soccer falls to Lynchburg on road

LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Averett University women's soccer team fell to University of Lynchburg in conference play on Saturday night by a score of 7-0.

Junior Maiju Hyvarinen recorded one shot on goal for the Cougars.

Junior goalie Alyson Kinkopf recorded nine saves in goal.

Averett is back in action next Wednesday when it travels to Hollins University for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
