Women's soccer battles to draw at Eastern Mennonite

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Averett University women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against Eastern Mennonite University on Saturday night.

Averett (4-6-2, 2-3-1 ODAC) recorded five shots on goal in the match while Eastern Mennonite (0-11-2, 0-5-1 ODAC) recorded four. Six Cougars recorded shots in the match.

Junior Alyson Kinkopf recoded four saves in the match.

Averett is back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 19 when it travels to Sweet Briar College at 7:30 p.m.
