DANVILLE, Va. – Averett University men's soccer lost 2-0 to Bridgewater College on Friday night on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.

Lukas Hanusek had five saves in the match.
In the 51st minute, Eric Ramirez found the back of the net. He was assisted by Lestath Savage, which gave Bridgewater (8-2-2) a 1-0 lead.
Thomas Vik scored a goal in the 61st minute of play to increase the Eagle lead to 2-0.
The Cougars are back in action on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium when they host Guilford College.
