DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University women's basketball program has rattled of back to back conference wins after a 80-70 victory over Salem College on Thursday Night inside the Grant Center.
Averett (6-17, 6-10 USA South) was led by freshman
Kalie Fleming who tallied a career-high with 16 points while also adding eight rebounds and four steals. The Cougars spread the wealth as senior
Genesis Weiters earned a season-high with six blocks while senior
Camryn Lunsford dropped 15 points.
Salem (3-19, 2-14 USA South) headed into the half down by six and was led by Alize Munn with 14 points.
Averett is back in action Saturday when they travel to N.C. Wesleyan at 2 p.m.
