DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University men's lacrosse program fell 17-2 against Greensboro College on Saturday afternoon on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium in its annual Team Molly game.
Averett (3-5, 0-2 USA South) scored the first goal of the game when senior
Tyler Moodie found the back of the net with an assist from fellow senior
Brenner Woodcock.
Greensboro (4-3, 1-0 USA South) rattled off 10 goals in a row after falling down 1-0 and led at the half 10-1.
The Cougars are back in action next Saturday, March 26, when they travel to LaGrange College at 1 p.m.
