LEXINGTON, Va. - Averett University women's fell in straight sets to Washington and Lee University on Saturday afternoon.
Averett (11-9, 6-4 ODAC) struggled to find its rhythm against Washington and Lee (14-6, 8-3 ODAC) as the Generals took the first set 25-122 and the following set 25-13. Averett tried to mount a comeback in the third, exchanging leads with Washington and Lee before falling 25-19.

Erin Gray tallied 24 digs while senior
Emma Nash had 14. Sophomore
Dayton Moore had 15 assists.
Averett is back in action on Tuesday against Bridgewater at 7 p.m. in the Grant Center.
