SALEM, Va. - Averett University women's soccer dropped its Old Dominion Athletic Conference match to Roanoke College 3-0 Wednesday night.
Roanoke (9-4-4, 7-1-2 ODAC) scored two goals in the opening 25 minutes of the match to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. In the 70th minute of play, the Maroons tallied their third goal of the night.
Averett recorded three shots on goal in the match coming from junior

Jenna Franklin and freshman
Leah Brethren. Freshman goalkeeper
Tiia Chrons registered 10 saves in the match.
Averett is back in action on the road against [RV] Washington and Lee University at 1 p.m. Saturday.
