LEXINGTON, Va. — Averett University men's soccer fell to Washington and Lee University 6-0 on Saturday evening to get knocked out of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Quarterfinals.

Tyler Yates had five saves, facing 19 shots.
Washington and Lee scored in the 21st minute to lead Averett 1-0. The Generals found the back of the net once more within the final minute to extend their lead to 2-0. In the 56th minute Washington and Lee managed to score again, giving them a 3-0 advantage. The Generals tacked on three more goals in the match.
The Cougars tallied seven shots in the match and took three corner kicks.
