Men's soccer draws with Randolph

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's soccer drew even against Randolph College 0-0 on Wednesday night on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.

Averett (5-2-4, 2-1-2 ODAC) had seven shots in the match with three on goal. Randolph (4-2-3, 2-0-2 ODAC) had 9 shots with three on goal as well. The two teams were neck-and-neck through 90 minutes of play.

Senior Tyler Yates had three saves to keep the Wildcats scoreless.

The Cougars are back in action on Saturday when they travel to face Bridgewater College at 1 p.m.
