Women's basketball falls to Roanoke in season finale

DANVILLE, Va. - The Averett University women's basketball team fell to Roanoke College 69-44 at home on Saturday.

Freshman Elisa Harris had a team-high 15 points, while junior pulled down a team-high eight rebounds and scored seven points. Sophomore Olivia Garner brought down seven rebounds while junior Talia prosper had five. Freshman Taylor Ray chipped in nine points.

Roanoke's bench erupted for 61 of the Maroons 69 points.

This concludes Averett women's basketball 2022-23 season.
