HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. – Averett University men's lacrosse fell on the road in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play to Hampden-Sydney College on the road Friday night 22-4.
Four different Cougars tallied goals in the game with freshman Cooper Case and junior Connor Taff posted two points. Freshman Cameron Shadduck, sophomore Ty Pearson and junior Calvin Beavers each had a caused turnover. In the cage, freshman Cameron Prutzman made 21 saves.
As a team Averett scooped up 17 ground balls.
Averett is back in action on Wednesday when it hosts Guilford College at 7 p.m.
