DANVILLE, Va. - Averett University men's lacrosse dropped its conference matchup to No. 11 Washington and Lee University on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium on Saturday by a score of 31-1.
No. 11 Washington and Lee (9-4, 4-2 ODAC) wasted no time getting into its offensive attack, scoring four goals to open the contest. Averett (3-9, 1-6 ODAC) scored its lone goal of the game at 10:53 in the first from sophomore

The Cougars struggled to carry the offensive momentum for the rest of the matchup as No. 11 Washington and Lee went on to win 31-1.
Hobbs' goal marks his third of the season and Duffey's 26th point of the season. Freshman
Cameron Prutzman made 21 saves in the loss.
Averett is back in action when it hosts Randolph-Macon College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
