LYNCHBURG, Va. - Averett University women's basketball dropped its road contest to University of Lynchburg Saturday 79-54.
Lynchburg (9-7,4-5 ODAC) opened up the game with a 22-15 lead after the first quarter. The Hornets took a 46-31 lead into halftime over Averett (4-13, 2-8 ODAC). Lynchburg added onto its lead throughout the second half. Sophomore

Averett is back in action when it travels to Randolph College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
