FOREST, Va. — Averett University men's basketball sophomore
Jamison Graves was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Graves, a native of Danville, Virginia, scored a career-high 36 points in Averett's 80-65 win over then-No. 10 Christopher Newport University on Nov. 25. Graves broke the program's single-game record for made 3-point percentage with a 7-for-8 effort from beyond the arc. He also had three rebounds, two assists and a steal in the Cougars' second win this season over a top-25 team.
Graves is the second Averett player to earn a weekly ODAC honor this fall, joining junior
Davion Bowens, who was named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 11.
