NORMAN, Okla. — Averett University men's golf moved up seven spots to No. 14 in the latest 2023-24 Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll, which was released Friday. The Cougars are tied for 14th with Wittenberg University.

Averett was No. 21 in the previous two polls after previously moving up to as high as No.18 this fall after winning the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial in early October. The Cougars were tied for 19th with two other schools in the preseason poll. Averett is also ranked No. 14 in the National Collegiate Golf Rankings through Scoreboard powered by Clippd, which were last updated on Feb. 14.
Methodist University, which was previously No. 1, also remained in the top spot in the poll.
