Cheer places first in category at CCA Nationals

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Averett University cheerleading competed at the CCA Nationals on Saturday, winning first place in its category.

Averett placed first in All Girl Limited and hit a zero deduction routine in finals. Unfortunately, the Cougars didn't bring home All Girl Grand Champion as Shepherd University took both collegiate grand champion divisions.
