LEXINGTON, Va. — Averett University men's lacrosse fell to No. 9 Washington and Lee University, 28-0.
The nationally ranked Washington and Lee (11-3, 7-0 ODAC) squad took care of business against the visiting Averett Cougars (2-12, 1-5 ODAC).

Casey Peterson led the Cougars with two ground balls each. Sophomore
Cameron Prutzman tallied seven saves in the game.
Averett is back in action at home to take on Randolph College next. The team's annual Team Molly game is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m.
