FOREST, Va. – Averett University women's tennis achieved a trifecta of honors from the ODAC, as senior Harshri Asher was named Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Singles Player of the Week, and senior Brenda Poulakidas and sophomore Sunna Maass were selected as the Doubles Team of the Week, announced by the conference offices on Monday.

A native of Mumbai, India, Asher was perfect in three matches at the Belmont Abbey College Invitational last weekend. The most notable of the wins was versus Division-II Belmont Abbey's Alexandra Wright, defeating her 6-0, 6-3.

Poulakidas, a native of Salta, Argentina, and Maass, hailing from Berlin, Germany, teamed up for one match during the invitational, and brought their best versus Division II Wingate University's Brooke LaFrenz and Gigi Hinson, winning 6-3.

This marks the program's second sweep of weekly awards in nearly a month, and Poulakidas' second doubles team of the week honors.
