Women's soccer loses to No. 9 Washington and Lee

LEXINGTON, Va. – Averett University women's soccer fell in its conference road trip against Washington and Lee University on Saturday. 

Averett (3-11-1, 2-7-0 ODAC) lost to No. 9 Washington and Lee (14-2-1, 10-0-0 ODAC) as the Generals close out their perfect conference campaign with a 12-0 victory. 

Junior goalkeeper Tiia Chrons pulled in 11 saves in front of the Cougars net. 

Averett's 2025 schedule comes to a close as the Cougars host Shenandoah University on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m.
