MANHEIM, Pa. — Averett University men's wrestling has five individuals ranked regionally by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), including one nationally ranked wrestler, as the organization announced its newest rankings on Friday.

At 125 pounds, junior Adrian Samano is ranked No. 3 in the region after starting the year 8-1. At 133, junior A.J. Orlando III is also ranked No. 3 regionally in his weight class with a 7-1 mark entering the weekend. Senior Xavier Swanson, who is 8-1 this season, is ranked No. 3 in the region at 165. Senior Khalil Mitchell comes in at No. 3 in the region and No. 12 nationally at 184 with a 3-0 record, while senior Jacob Jimenez is ranked No.5 in the region at 197 with an 8-4 mark.
