Swannanoa, N.C. — Averett University women's volleyball was back on the road Tuesday to face Warren Wilson College for their second to last match of the 2025 season, where they defeated Warren Wilson 3-1.
Averett (6-18, 2-9 ODAC) took the first set 25-18 before Warren Wilson (3-20, 0-2 CAC) responded by taking the second set 25-23. The Cougars then clinched their win by taking the third and fourth set 25-17 and 25-17.
Junior Allie Wilkerson had nine kills for the Cougars, while senior Rachel Green and junior Sydney Mounce had seven a piece.
Senior setter Dayton Moore carried out 15 assists.
On the defense, senior Nina Moore had two solo blocks and senior Kadence Woodlief had 12 digs.
Averett travels to Winston Salem, North Carolina on Saturday for their final match of the 2025 season against Salem College at 2 p.m.
