The Series: The Cougars have defeated Randolph in two duals all-time, including a 37-10 win last December. Versus Marymount, Averett leads 2-0 in that series, including a 33-11 triumph last November. The Cougars and East Stroudsburg meet for the first time in program history.
Averett at a Glance: The Cougars opened its season at the Lycoming College Invitational on Sunday by totaling 16 placers, including Xavier Swanson winning first place in the 165-pound juniors/seniors division bracket. In addition to the one first place, Averett had three runner-up finishes, five third-place finishes, three finish fourth, three finish fifth and one eighth-place finish.
Randolph at a Glance: The WildCats placed 12th as a team at the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday.
East Stroudsburg at a Glance: The Warriors placed second out of 49 teams on Sunday at the 58th annual ESU Open, hosted by the University.
