Salem, Va. — Averett University women's volleyball traveled to Winston Salem, Virginia on Saturday for their final match of the 2025 season against Salem College where they fell in straight sets.
The Spirits (26-6, 14-4 USA South) defeated the Cougars (6-19, 2-9 ODAC) with scores of 25-11, 25-19 and 25-19.
Junior Sydney Mounce led Averett with eight kills, while juniors Tahani Villines and Allie Wilkerson had seven a piece.
Senior Dayton Moore totaled 17 assists, while fellow setter sophomore Megan Litman had 10.
On defense, Wilkerson added two solo blocks while Moore and senior Ella Jabaley had 10 digs each.
That's a wrap on the Averett women's volleyball season, as focus shifts towards offseason training with eyes towards the 2026 campaign.
