Game Notes: Averett vs. Longwood
The Series: Averett is 5-9 all-time against Longwood dating back to the 1976-77 season and Longwood's Division III era. Averett's last win came in its final matchup with Lancers in Division III when the Cougars won 96-91 in Danville on Dec. 8, 1993. Since then, the two have met in 2014 (exhibition only for Averett), 2016 and 2018. The Lancers won the last meeting on Dec. 13, 2018, with an 81-57 victory.
