DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's volleyball swept Warren Wilson College 3-0 for its second win of the season on Friday in the Grant Center.
Averett (2-8, 0-3 ODAC) defeated Warren Wilson (0-8, 0-0 C2C) for the second time this season, beating the Owls 25-13, 25-20 and 25-22.

Yerai Collazo helped Averett get out to an early 11-3 lead over the Owls in the first set, which Averett took handily.
The Owls were able to make a comeback in the second set, getting within 23-20 before a kill from Collazo and freshman
Liam Audrain closed out Set 2 in Averett's favor.
Warren Wilson maintained momentum into the third set, taking the lead 20-18. Errors by the Owls put the Cougars up, and a kill from junior
Nicholas Breen clinched the Cougars' victory.
Collazo recorded a season-high 10 kills, while Audrain and Breen tied with five kills apiece. Sophomore
Shaun Freeman and junior
Diego Giffuni guided the offense with 10 assists each. Junior
Anibal Lopez led the Cougars' defense with nine digs, while Collazo had eight.
The Cougars are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Lynchburg, Virginia, for a conference match against Randolph College at 7 p.m.
